NOTICE OF VACANCIES IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR
OXENHOPE VILLAGE COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that due to the resignation of H Hartley and P McManus, two vacancies have arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Village Council (Vacancy No.1 and Vacancy No.2).
If by 13 May, 2022 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill either of the said vacancies is made in writing to the Proper Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Village Council, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancies will be filled by co-option.
Any request for an election must specify which vacancy it is for: Vacancy No.1 or Vacancy No.2, or whether the request is to fill both vacancies by election.
If an election is called, it will take place not later than 19 July, 2022.
