Stan is training to be a blacksmith. He grew up in the village & volunteered on the railway. His sculpture uses a piece of track and depicts the 3 roads from the station, the village, buildings, the hills in the distance. It also includes the gates that are specific to the village. (Gates designed and made by Herbert Hargreaves).
