In 1975, the Oxenhope Village Society produced a survey and recommendations on preservation of the village.
The Oxenhope Village Society was constituted in April 1973, to protect and preserve and stimulate public interest in the area comprising the village of Oxenhope, to promote high standards of town planning and architecture in the area, and to secure the preservation, conservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic or public interest.
